The expectation is that the number of job hoppers will increase even more soon. Many employees want to make a new start in 2022. They see this candidate market as the perfect moment to look for a new challenge at another organization.
This is reason enough to want to stand out as an employer, especially now. An end to the tight labor market is not yet in sight. So if you want to have a chance at new candidates as an employer, you have to make sure that you stand out among a sea of other employers in 2022.

Of course, you can have your open vacancy filled by a recruitment agency on a no-cure-no-pay basis. The point is, however, that recruitment agencies are currently facing the same problem. It is also currently difficult for them to find suitable candidates.

- Are there reasons why a candidate would want to work for you instead of another employer?
- If so, do you communicate this to your target group?
- And how do you communicate this to your target group?
If you as an employer do not deal with these issues, finding the right people is almost an impossible task these days.
Competing with other employers is also called recruitment marketing. Here, the focus is not only on placing the right vacancy with the right target group. Other aspects that make you attractive as an employer are also considered, such as:
- Effective job descriptions and job title of the vacancy;
- Creating content for potential candidates;
- Enticing the candidate with content and substance to apply to you;
- Employer branding: positioning your company in the labor market as an interesting employer;
- Setting up a high-converting career page.
